HAND EXOSKELETON FOR REHABILITATION AND FUNCTIONALIZATION

نویسندگان

چکیده

Many diseases and injuries of the hand require rehabilitation to restore function. However, high human, financial, spatial, temporal costs associated with often mean that population in need does not have access optimal rehabilitative care. Therefore, devices complement therapist are a possible solution, as they make more independent frequent, save healthcare facilities aforementioned resources. Nevertheless, these widely distributed market, mainly due their poor accessibility. The newly designed exoskeleton has four motors redundant transmission system allows flexion extension each finger, except thumb. Kinematics were analyzed motion studies loads evaluated static structural analysis using loads. In simulations, both achieved seconds. A prototype was built its kinematics matched simulation corresponded biomechanics fingers. At maximum flexion, would be able hold small objects exert normal force up 20 N integrity. Design and Development of 3d Printed Myoelectric Robotic Exoskeleton for Hand Rehabilitation

The development of dynamic rehabilitation devices can be evaluated as a research fastgrowing field. Indeed, robot-assisted therapy is an advanced new technology mainly in stroke rehabilitation. Although patients benefit from this enormous development of technology, including the presence of rehabilitation robots, the therapeutic field still suffering a lack in hand robotic rehabilitation device...

A Resistance Compensation Control Algorithm for a Cable-Driven Hand Exoskeleton for Motor Function Rehabilitation

The resistance compensation, especially the friction compensation in the Bowden cable transmission is a difficult issue to be handled. Aimed to the resistance reduction requirement in the active rehabilitative motion, a resistance compensation control method is proposed. Based on the simplified transmission model, the resistance, including the cable friction as well as the mechanical moment of ...

Universal Exoskeleton Arm Design for Rehabilitation

This paper proposes the design of a 4 DOF exoskeleton robotic arm for rehabilitation. This proposed robot arm can be used easily with either the user’s left or right arm. This robot arm is designed to have low inertia, high stiffness link, and zero backlash transmissions. It supports the patient’s arm during rehabilitation which is a repetitive task and takes a period of time. Each joint of thi...

Pneumatically Actuated Exoskeleton for Gait Rehabilitation

This paper describe the mechanical and control system design of a 10 DOF (Degrees Of Freedom) lower limbs exoskeleton for gait rehabilitation of patients with gait dysfunction. The system has 4 double-acting rod pneumatic actuators (two for each leg), that controls the hip and knee joints. Motion of each cylinder’s piston is controlled by two pressure proportional valves, connected to both cyli...
